Location

Bellellen Homestead is situated in the Grampians region of Western Victoria and is:

  • 2.5 hours’ drive from Melbourne
  • 1.5 hours’ drive from Ballarat
  • 10 minutes’ drive from Stawell
  • 15 minutes’ drive from Halls Gap
  • 5.5 hours’ drive from Adelaide

Directions from Melbourne

  • When approaching Ararat, turn right at the first roundabout (the new town by-pass), continue along past the Ararat RSL (about 45kms from Bellellen Homestead) on the Western Highway towards Stawell.
  • Go through Great Western.
  • Do not take the first right-hand turn-off to the Stawell town centre, continue along Western Highway through the highway part of the town.
  • Turn left off the Western Highway (A8) at Stawell (opposite McDonald's) onto the Lake Fyans (Pomonal) Road (C221) travelling past the Stawell Racecourse.
  • Follow this road for approximately 8.5 kms. Directly after crossing Basin Creek, turn left at Bellellen Road and follow the signs to Bellellen Homestead.

Directions from Adelaide

  • Turn right off the Western Highway (A8) at Stawell (opposite McDonald's) following the signs to Lake Fyans and Pomonal on the Lake Fyans (Pomonal) Road (C221) travelling past the Stawell Racecourse.
  • Follow this road for approximately 8.5 kms.
  • Directly after crossing Basin Creek, turn left at Bellellen Road and follow the signs to Bellellen Homestead.
